“You are not at the mercy of life—you are the conductor of your own energy, the architect of your own joy, and the healer of your own heart.”
– Unknown

Sierra believes that life is a collection of stories—some to cherish, some to endure, and others that challenge understanding. She recognizes that certain moments can change a person profoundly, shaking their sense of identity and prompting a search for meaning amidst the chaos. As a therapist, Sierra is dedicated to creating a space where clients feel truly heard and supported as they navigate their own narratives. Regardless of how messy, painful, or complicated a story may feel, Sierra reminds her clients that they are not alone.
Sierra views her clients as the experts of their own lives. Her role is not to give directives but to help them explore, reframe, and transform the perspectives that shape their worlds. She believes healing is not about erasing the past or pretending the pain never existed but about learning to carry it differently—with understanding, self-compassion, and strength.
Specializing in trauma work, Sierra utilizes a blend of narrative therapy, experiential therapy, and guided imagery-based approaches, including inner child and shadow work. She understands how the weight of past experiences can hold people back, trapping them in patterns of fear and self-doubt. Together with her clients, she works to uncover the beliefs and experiences that have shaped them, helping them move toward a renewed sense of self and healthier relationships. She emphasizes that healing is deeply personal and that there is no “right” way—only the way that feels true for each individual.
Sierra earned her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mercer University, but her journey into this work was shaped by more than academics. The COVID-19 pandemic was a defining chapter in her life, bringing immense grief and change. She experienced the loss of two close friends to suicide, nearly lost her sister, and witnessed the unraveling of her family’s mental health. These experiences taught her profound lessons about grief, resilience, and the importance of having a safe space to process pain. They fueled her passion for helping others navigate their struggles because she understands firsthand the depths of feeling lost and the transformative power of healing.
Sierra works with adults (18+) facing various mental health and life challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and trauma. Her primary goal is to understand her clients—their stories, concerns, and what healing looks like for them. She emphasizes that therapy is not about “fixing” anyone but rather about helping them realize that they were never broken in the first place.
Sierra believes that healing is a journey that no one should have to walk alone. She feels honored to walk alongside her clients as they step into the next chapters of their lives with curiosity and courage.

Raven Pittman, MFT

“Practice makes Progress”
– Unknown

Raven was born and raised in Macon, Georgia, where her passion for mental health first began to take shape in her youth. She attended Middle Georgia State University, earning her Bachelor of Arts in English in 2021. During her time in academia, Raven discovered that while she loved the power of language, her true calling extended beyond the classroom and into the deeper, more personal stories found within therapy spaces. This realization led her back to one of Macon’s most respected institutions, Mercer University, where she completed her Master of Family Therapy in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2024.
Raven is a master’s-level Marriage and Family Therapist currently working toward associate licensure. Drawing from both her educational background and lived experiences, she is passionate about serving and advocating for underserved and marginalized communities—including African Americans, veterans, gender and religious minorities, individuals with disabilities, and members of the LGBTQ+ community and their families. She also enjoys expanding access to care for clients in rural areas through the use of telehealth, helping bridge the gap for those who might not otherwise have access to quality mental health services.
In her therapeutic work, Raven empowers clients to become active participants in their own healing journeys. Her integrative approach blends collaborative, emotionally focused, trauma-informed, dialectical-behavioral, and cognitive-behavioral techniques—all grounded in systemic and general systems theories. In essence, Raven believes that therapy should be as unique as the individuals who seek it. No two clients share the same story, and therefore, no two sessions look exactly alike. Her conversational style fosters an atmosphere of honesty, empathy, and accountability, whether she’s working with an individual, a couple, or an entire family.

Raven is currently under clinical supervision provided by Neva Fox MFT001629.
